How To Create My Student Forms Account
Sign up for Student Forms and make sure you never miss a financial aid update! Securely upload your documents, and keep track of your tasks!
Please note that the Student Forms TORCH Portal uses single sign-on credentials provisioned by Providence College. You should always access the portal by clicking on a link in an email, on our website or from your admission status portal Financial Aid checklist.
Current Students

- Please make sure you are using your Providence College single sign-on credentials (friars.providence.edu) when accessing this link!
- Click “Create Account” link
- Confirm or input your student information.
- Make sure your student information for your First and Last Name, Date of Birth and SSN, matches what you provided on the FAFSA, exactly!
- Click “Create Account” button.
Applicants
First time logging in?
When Creating your Student Forms TORCH Portal for the first time there will be some additional steps you may need to take, as the aid portal will contain sensitive FAFSA and tax data that we want to make sure we are protecting. Financial Aid pages have an additional layer of security and you will be asked to configure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) if you have not already done so:
- Click this link to Student Forms
- You will be asked to use the Providence College single sign-on credentials (friars.providence.edu) you use for the Admission Status Portal when accessing this link. If you have not accessed the Admission Status Portal see information here first.
- MFA can be set up using the Microsoft Authenticator app or by clicking “other options/I want to use a different method” on the bottom left of that window (to be given the option of providing a mobile phone number with texting capabilities). We recommend the texting option for ease of use!
- For additional help and information on MFA go here.
- After you have authenticated, click “Create Account” link.
- Confirm or input your student information.
- Make sure your student information for your First and Last Name, Date of Birth and SSN, matches what you provided on the FAFSA, exactly!
- Click “Create Account” button.
Missing your password?
If you did not receive or have lost the original confirmation message and are missing your username and initial password, please contact the Office of Admission at (401) 865-2535 or via email at pcadmiss@providence.edu.
If you have not yet set up MFA to access the Student Forms TORCH portal and need your password reset, the “forgot my password” feature at the bottom of the log-in page will NOT work for applicants and you must contact the IT Help Desk at (401) 865-4357. Help Desk hours are available here.
If you have already completed the set up of MFA and had at least one successful login to the Student Forms TORCH portal you may use the “forgot my password” link at the bottom of the log-in page.
The Help Desk is only available to assist with issues logging into the portal. All other questions should be directed to the Office of Admission via phone at (401) 865-2535 or email to pcadmiss@providence.edu or The Office of Financial Aid via phone at (401) 865-2286 or email to finaid@providence.edu.
Helpful Tips
The Student Forms TORCH Portal sign-on system is hosted by Microsoft, the same system used by many colleges and universities as well as major corporations. If you find you are automatically being logged in to another platform upon clicking the link, we recommend accessing the portal via a private browsing system like Incognito Mode through Google Chrome or using a different browser altogether.
Now that you’ve created your account, make sure you are enabling both text message and email updates and notifications!
