Be sure to file your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online with the U.S. Department of Education ​in enough time for Providence College to receive it prior to registration in the semester(s) you plan on attending.

Applying for aid Summer 2025, Fall 2025 or Spring 2026?

Once your FAFSA has been submitted and processed and the U.S. Department of Education has sent you a Student Aid Report (SAR) please read the comment section very carefully. If there is an issue with the application (i.e. missing signature, citizenship confirmation) it will be outlined in this section and these issues must too be resolved in order to determine a student’s eligibility.​
