School of Continuing Education

Returning or Prospective Student

Welcome! The information on this page applies to both prospective and current School of Continuing Education students.  Our adult students are sometimes surprised to find out that they qualify for financial aid.  Check out A Financial Aid Guide for School of Continuing Education Students, Important SCE Financial Aid Facts, and Prehealth Certificate information to better help you navigate financial matters here at the College.

Be sure to file your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online with the U.S. Department of Education in enough time for Providence College to receive it prior to registration in the semester(s) you plan on attending.

Please keep in mind that in order to apply for financial aid students must be enrolled in a qualifying degree/certification program.  In addition, most sources of funding require students to be at least half-time (i.e. 6 credits) or better.

Applying for aid Summer 2023, Fall 2023 or Spring 2024?

Applying for aid Summer 2024, Fall 2024 or Spring 2025?

  • 2024-2025 FAFSA (coming December 2023)
  • Due 6 weeks prior to registration
  • School Code: 003406

Once your FAFSA has been submitted and processed and the U.S. Department of Education has sent you a Student Aid Report (SAR) please read the comment section very carefully. If there is an issue with the application (i.e. missing signature, citizenship confirmation) it will be outlined in this section and these issues must too be resolved in order to determine a student’s eligibility.
