Study Abroad Costs Calculator
Please use the calculator below to estimate the total cost of your abroad experience. Please note, Providence College uses a home school tuition model. This means the student is charged/pays PC’s tuition and then PC makes arrangements to pay the tuition charge that appears on the student’s abroad program bill. All other abroad program charges (i.e. housing, food, fees) must be paid directly to the abroad program by the student. Students can use financial aid/alternative loans
to help cover costs. If a student’s total resources (financial aid + private loans) exceeds their charges at PC arrangements can be made to send those funds to the host program and/or parent.
Costs Calculator
Providence College
This is tuition at PC for one semester.
The abroad fee is $250 for the summer and $1,000 for the fall and/or spring.
Enter your financial aid for the semester(s) you are going abroad (found in your CyberFriar Account). Do NOT include Federal Work Study.
A negative total means you have a credit you can use towards your abroad expenses (i.e. housing, food, fees). If you want us to transfer money to an abroad program (and/or parent), you must complete a refund instruction form. A positive total means you owe PC. Keep in mind this figure does not reflect your other non-tuition abroad costs.
